SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment, Inc. and its affiliates operate theme parks and entertainment venues throughout North America including SeaWorld® Orlando, Aquatica, SeaWorld’s Waterpark® in Orlando, Busch Gardens® Tampa and Discovery Cove®. Our corporate group also consists of Adventure Island®, Aquatica SeaWorld’s Waterpark®, Busch Gardens®, Discovery Cove®, Sesame Place®, and Water Country USA®.

This privacy policy explains our online information practices and the choices you can make about the way your personal information is collected and used through our website.

What Information Do We Collect from You?

You may browse many sections of our website without providing any personal information about yourself.  However, if you choose to register for one of our promotions or services, order a DVD, ask us a question through our Contact Us link, purchase park tickets, submit a review or image, or engage in certain other online activities, we must collect certain personal information from you.

Ordering and Fulfilling Such Orders

If you place an order through our website or over the telephone, such as an order for a ticket to one of our theme parks or for one of our free DVDs, we must obtain information from you in order to fulfill the order, including your contact information, payment information such as credit card number, billing and shipping information, order information, preferences, user information, information about travel plans and companions.  This information is used for billing purposes and to fulfill and confirm customer orders.  The information may be used to contact you to confirm orders or in the event that we have trouble processing your order for a ticket or DVD.

Sharing Information Collected with Third Parties

SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment may share your information within the SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment group of companies as well as with third parties that assist us with our website, advertising and contests, such as in providing the services that you requested, or for the purposes of improving our marketing or administration.  This includes companies that provide analytics to us about use of our website, so that we can evaluate use of our website and continue to improve our website content.  However, when we use third party service providers, we disclose only the personal information that is necessary to deliver the service to us and we have a contract in place that requires them to only use the information for the purposes it was provided, to keep your information secure and not to use it for their own direct marketing purposes.  We are liable to you for our third party service providers appropriate processing of your personal information in a manner consistent with this Privacy Policy and applicable data privacy laws and regulations.

When you use our online booking page, your order is processed by a third party ticket provider and payment processor (ATD Travel Services Ltd), who specialises in the secure online capture and processing of credit/debit card transactions and distribution of tickets.

When you order a DVD from our website, your order is processed by a third party fulfilment provider (Ark H Group Ltd), who specialises in the fulfilment and distribution of goods.

Except as provided in this policy, SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment does not share or sell any personal information that you provide to us through our website for any separate use by any third party.  However, from time to time, we may provide aggregate (statistical) information about our customers, sales, online traffic patterns and related information to reputable third parties who help us improve our business and services, but these statistics do not include any personal data or personally identifying information.

We also may disclose your information to our third party services providers related to the prevention of harm to us, our businesses, services or products or to protect persons and property.  Additionally, we may disclose your information to our service providers to defend claims or potential claims made against us any person or entity in or associated with the SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment group of companies.

SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment does not market any of its products online for children under the age of 16, nor does SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment design its online applications, advertisements and other features to attract an audience of children under the age of 16.  Although certain pages within the website may reference “kids” or “children,” SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment strictly intends for such portions of the website to be used only by adults (such as parents) or children of the age 16 or older.
