Reality TV star, Ricky Rayment, best known for appearing in popular TV show The Only Way is Essex takes a break from launching his new singing career to enjoy a family holiday to Florida where he braved Orlando’s tallest, longest, fastest rollercoaster, Mako.
Former TOWIE star, Ricky, 26, was joined by family members including his mum Jan and dad Richard as well as his sister, her partner and their baby, and a pal, as he visited some of America’s top theme parks.
The group enjoyed a visit to SeaWorld Orlando where they rode on Florida’s only hypercoaster, Mako, which boasts speeds of 73mph and heights of 200ft, as well as the park’s signature ‘flying’ coaster, Manta, before coming face-to-face with penguins at Antarctica: Empire of the Penguin. Ricky beamed as he strolled around the park with his family in the sunshine and pointed out different animals including crocodiles and flamingos.
Ricky and co also visited African themed park Busch Gardens Tampa where they tried the park’s new family friendly spin coaster Cobra’s Curse as well as Florida’s only triple launch rollercoaster, Cheetah Hunt. The star put on a brave face to ride Falcon’s Fury, the world’s only face down drop tower ride of its kind and even got to meet a baby sloth at the park’s Animal Care Center animal hospital area. The holiday was topped off with a visit to tropical oasis Discovery Cove where the group swam with a played with the dolphins before snorkelling amongst rays and exotic fish in the Grand Reef.
