26th June, 2012... Last week on the 17th June, twin sea lions were welcomed into the world at SeaWorld Orlando in Florida. The birth is very rare in the animal world and the first time twin sea lions have been born at SeaWorld.

The baby sea lions are healthy and have been seen nursing from their mum, Fable, who is also doing well. Fable, who is nearly 14 years old, was also born at SeaWorld Orlando. The pups will continue to nurse from their mother until they are between six and 12 months old.

The first of the twins was born at 11 a.m. and the second followed a few hours later with the sex of the twins having not yet been determined.
